Public Meetings

MedPAC meets publicly to discuss policy issues and to formulate and vote on its recommendations to the Congress. At these meetings, staff present research and policy options for the Commissioners to discuss. Typically, these meetings occur seven times over the course of a cycle. MedPAC’s public meeting cycle begins in September and continues through April. Prior to the coronavirus public health emergency, members of the public could attend the meetings in person at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in downtown Washington, DC; however, until further notice, MedPAC’s public meetings are being held virtually.

The agenda and links to register for meeting sessions are posted about one week before each meeting.

Transcripts and presentation slides are available three to five days after the meeting.

Official public comment letters submitted through meetingcomments@medpac.gov within 14 days following the associated public meeting will be posted on MedPAC’s website.
